Planned Giving
Do you want to leave a lasting legacy with your gift?
If so, a planned gift may be the perfect option for you. Planned giving helps North Central Conservancy Trust to ensure that our organization will continue to protect natural places into the future. There are many different planned giving options. Those options include bequests, a gift of land, bargain sale, life estate reserved, and a charitable gift annuity. All of these options are incredible contributions and have a lasting impact on NCCT. Planned giving is special because it is a gift that will help protect natural landscapes, allowing them to thrive long after we are gone. These conservation options can minimize tax implications, for example, reduce income taxes, avoid capital-gain tax, increase spendable income, retain payments for life, to name a few.
Gift of Land
Bargain Sale: This type of planned giving gift is when NCCT is given the opportunity to purchase a property for less than the fair market value.
Life Estate: This planned giving gift is where NCCT accepts your donation of property – either a personal residence or land—and the donor retains the right to use that property for his or her lifetime.
Bequests
A bequest is a type of planned giving gift that is a donation to a charity at death. You can use NCCT’s designation language in your will. Click the button at the bottom of the page to see the designation language.
Bargain Sale
This type of planned giving gift is when NCCT is given the opportunity to purchase a property for less than the fair market value.
Life Estate Reserved
A life estate gift is when NCCT accepts your donation of property – either a personal residence or land—and the donor retains the right to use that property for his or her lifetime.
Memorial Gift
Do you wish to give a gift in memory of a person special to you? North Central Conservancy Trust welcomes you to give a gift that honors or memorializes others. This special tribute means NCCT will be able to conserve more lands in Central Wisconsin in honor of your loved one. When you commit to giving in memory of a friend or family member, you are ensuring that their memory lives on through the legacy of land conservation.
NCCT will write a thank you note to you in acknowledgment of your gift as well as a special note to the family of the honoree informing them of the gift.
You can write a check and deliver it to the North Central Conservancy Trust’s Office located at 301 West Cedar Street Stevens Point, WI 54481. The last option is to make an online donation through our website. Please indicate who your gift is in memory of or what occasion it is for. If you would like us to send a thank you card to the honoree or the honoree’s family, please give us their name and address. The amount of your gift will not be disclosed.
