  • DESCRIPTION: Treat yourself to a delicious, locally made meal and a night of virtual entertainment on Saturday, October 24th. This year for NCCT’s Annual Dinner Event and Major Fundraiser, we have decided to change things up a bit. NCCT staff and volunteers have been working hard to find creative ways to host a fun event for our members that would be safe and still offer an amazing experience. We have decided it is best to go virtual this year but to make it more interesting we have some really amazing people and local businesses partnering with us this year.

VIRTUAL EVENT DESCRIPTION: Local UWSP Graduate, Tara Short, Founder and Director of Green EDventures, will be speaking at our event this year. Green EDventures is a business founded on connecting people to nature and the environment by taking them all across the planet to have hands-on experiences with new cultures, habitats, wildlife, and more. Her eco-tours make it possible to give you an educational experience on all corners of the earth. Tara is in the business of sustainable Travel. She is coming to talk about some of the most amazing places all around the world and why in her eyes land conservation is such an important tool not only here but all over the world, protecting special places for future generations to visit and explore. Let Tara take you away from the madness of 2020 and make you feel like you are on that much-needed vacation we are all longing for.
