NCCT received a generous land donation from Harry Suszko in November of 2021. This 8-acre property is near Wautoma in Waushara County. The site is known for its historically diverse prairie habitat including plants such as pasque flower, asters, and white sage. Longtime NCCT supporter, former Board member, and current Properties Committee member, Dr. Bob Freckmann, originally visited the property during the 1970s and conducted various flora surveys. NCCT is currently looking into the feasibility of future restoration projects regarding this prairie habitat. We thank Harry for this incredible donation and look forward to exploring the potential of this site!
