Join NCCT and long-time supporter and craftsperson, Roger Zimmermann (Turning North LLC), for a LIVE woodturning demonstration!
- Where? NCCT Office (301 West Cedar Street, Stevens Point, WI 54481)
- When? Thursday, November 10th @ 4:30pm
- What? A live demonstration of how Roger creates his handmade acorns from NCCT’s garage! Warm beverages and light refreshments will be provided. Please dress for the weather – this demonstration will largely take place outside.
Over the course of the last year, Roger has volunteered countless hours handcrafting more than 80 wooden acorns on his lathe. Each acorn is made with wood harvested here in central Wisconsin, is hollow, and has a removable lid. They are INCREDIBLE! Roger will be donating these acorns to NCCT, and from November 29 through the end of the year supporters who make a donation of $50 or more will receive one as thanks for your support!
