We are excited to announce that NCCT reached our $10,000 fundraising goal for energy efficiency improvements at the Land Conservation Center over the 4th of July weekend! To everyone who supported this effort, we can’t thank you enough!
You helped to raise a total of $10,050 that will be used along with the grant awarded by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin to replace the Land Conservation Center’s windows with energy efficient upgrades, re-insulate the building’s attic, and reinforce its ceilings, which are contributing to energy loss.
This fundraising effort was quickly put underway by an anonymous donor who committed $4,500 towards the fundraiser as a match challenge. Thank you to our anonymous donors for supporting this project in such an impactful way! The remaining $5,500 was donated over a short period during the following weeks by NCCT Board and Committee members, members of the organization, and local supporters who value energy efficiency initiatives.
With the fundraiser completed we expect to start ordering materials soon!
Thank you so much for investing in the next phase of improvements for the Land Conservation Center. Your donation supports NCCT and our land protection mission by helping to make our office as efficient and functional as possible.
